All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear but they're in amazing shape for 30 years old 8/10. Playing condition notes: Action is very low, neck is straight, intonation is good. There's a chip near the oddly-placed input jack. The chrome parts are in pretty good shape with minor dulling only. Made: Japan, 1985 approx (dated by catalog, headstock shape serial L028791) It was pretty easy to set the action on this to 'wow that's low', it's perfectly at home playing super quick stuff. Early 80s made in Japan, Stone Logo, big 70s headstock, bullet truss rod, 6 point vintage style trem, with trem arm and gig bag. The also-brilliantly-named Dog Fighter pickups look awesome, they're high-output passive pickups and they crunch up nicely. It's very stable and fun to do crazy tricks on. This one features a purple/blue colour shifting finish with what looks to be a mahogany back and ash top, maple neck and thick rosewood fingerboard (22 frets). The 'Head Crasher' (best name ever) tremolo functions like a Floyd Rose, but you don't need to remove the ball ends and clamp the strings in it's a little simpler. A mysterious series of guitars from Fernandes, these were primarily high end builds using upgraded components and luthier attention. Fernandes have done some awesome and innovative things over the years, so this features a couple of their cool unique markers. It's nicely put together and feels extremely sturdy and reassuring in the hands, the neck and frets etc are all bang-on. This is a cool little example of 80s MIJ shreddable super Strats.
